Steven Morgan is an improvisation theatre practitioner who has been playing for over ten years, and since has played, performed and taught all over the world.
easylaughs
He is Steven Morgan is a former cast member, performer & teacher with Amsterdam’s easylaughs from 2019 to 2023. While at easylaughs, he held the role of Chief of Learning, responsible for the teaching methods and course content for the school. He was also part of the core Decision Making Team deciding on the strategic direction of the non-profit organisation. He still works with the group, but now on a freelance basis.
Impro Amsterdam
In 2023 he auditioned for a place on the Dutch cast of the renowned improv festival Impro Amsterdam for the first time, where he was successful in his endeavour. He was chosen to join a small group of internationally renowned improvisers who would rehearse and play together with some of the finest improv talent from across the world at the festival itself.
Improv Utrecht
Steven teaches and performs with Improv Utrecht in his home city. He has taught numerous courses and workshops with the group including a Harold and an Armando course for advanced improvisers. He also advises on strategic direction for the school, helping it grow year-on-year as a formidable presence in the improv scene in The Netherlands.

Chili Con Comedy
He is a former performer & teacher with Eindhoven’s Chili Con Comedy, having played, performed and taught with the group in 2018.
Steven learned improv originally with ImproMafia in Brisbane, Australia. He was cast as in this sold-out ImproMafia production as part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival 2017 at the Brisbane Powerhouse only four months after having taken up improv. The production received rave reviews from Weekend Notes and Scenestr.
Tru2U
Steven Morgan is one half of the improv duo Tru2U with Rogier Bak. The duo perform as a part-improvised self-help seminar solving the life problems of the members of the audience.
Real Power Talk
Steven is the founder and host of Real Power Talk, an interview series created in conjunction with media company All Things Loud where popular bands are unknowingly interviewed by characters all played by Steven Morgan. Here is the pilot episode where Nigel America interviews the Canadian band PUP.
Comedy Commentary Cinema
Steven was the founder and former host of Comedy Commentary Cinema where comedians provide live commentary over the top of film screenings. Featured in The Courier Mail, Concrete Playground, West End Magazine, Scenestr, Weekend Notes & AAA Backstage.
