DESCRIPTION:Improv Utrecht welcomes back their popular teacher Steven Morgan to teach another Friday Drop-In workshop in English.\nWhether you’re an expert or new to improv\, all are welcome to join in the fun.\n\n• Meet fellow international and Dutch players.\n• Learn the basics of improvisation\, a 21st-century skill.\n• Play funny theatre scenes.\n• Laugh a lot\, whilst surprising yourself and others.\n\nDoors open 19:50-20:00h (come in with the others)\nPlaying 20:00-22:00h\nAfterwards drinks at the Irish pub!\n\nSign up\nLeave your name and an x in the appropriate column on the signup spreadsheet.\nMark yourself as attending on Meetup & Facebook.\nIf you’ve signed up but can no longer attend\, remember to update the spreadsheet and social media platforms so your spot becomes available for someone else.\n\nIf it’s your first time attending\, please send your contact details to Marieke: info@theatersportworkshops.nl\, to be kept updated if any changes occur.\nPlease note that at Buurtcentrum de Leeuw\, the entrance door is at the side of the building on Troelstraslaan.\n\nPrice\nYou can pay as much as you like for the workshop\, but the suggested donation is €10 – €20 cash or Tikkie (link provided by the teacher on the evening). Each pair will perform a short-formatted piece\, co-created and discovered in real time\, drawing on the chemistry and creative energy of the moment. \nAmong the exciting pairings for this evening is Steven Morgan performing with Nandita Dhir. This fresh duo brings together Steven’s sharp theatrical instincts and Nandita’s emerging voice as a playful\, imaginative performer. Having recently completed easylaughs’ basics and musical improv courses\, Nandita steps into the spotlight with her teacher for a once-in-a-lifetime improv experience—no script\, no safety net\, just connection and surprise. \nEach performance will be distinct\, ranging from heartfelt to hilarious\, clever to chaotic—and everything in between.
